14 March 2017 -- Obligatory Mass Day for Members of the Order March 20th.

3/14/17: Next Monday, March 20th, is an Obligatory Mass Day for Members of the Order. 

It is the anniversary of the death of HRH Prince don Ferdinando Maria di Borbone delle Due Sicilie, Duke of Castro. (The other 2 Obligation days are 4/23 the Feast of St George and 9/14 the Exaltation of the Holy Cross).

Members of the Order collectively in their local communities or individually are obliged to attend Holy Mass on the 20th of March since it is the Memorial Mass intention for Prince don Ferdinando and all other deceased Grand Masters and Sovereigns of the Order.

Details will be posted when regional information is provided. There will be an Official Mass in conjunction with the Missa Cantata for the Feast of St Joseph at the Church of OL of Mount Carmel, Newark, NJ as previously announced with Prayers offered for our deceased Grand Master.

22 February 2017 -- The Order Mourns the Death of His Eminence, Desmond Cardinal Connell

2/22/17: The US Delegation, our Prior, His Eminence Cardinal McCarrick and Delegate, Cav John M Viola, mourn the death yesterday of our esteemed confratello, His Eminence, Desmond Cardinal Connell, Archbishop Emeritus of Dublin, Primate of Ireland, Bailiff GC of Justice of our Order and our Chief Chaplain of Ireland. His Late Eminence since 2002 was a strong and visible participant in the life of the Order through the UK-Ireland Delegation. 

A message of sympathy and unity has been extended by the US Delegation to our dear confratelli of the UK-Ireland Delegation on all our behalf and especially by Cardinal McCarrick on the loss of a dear brother of the College of Cardinals.

13 February 2017 -- Appointment of Nob. Dr. Robert dei Baroni LaRocca as Vice Delegate

2/13/17: It is with great pleasure that the US Delegation welcomes its Vice Delegate. HE our Delegate, Cav. John M. Viola has appointed our confratello, Nob. Dr. Robert dei Baroni LaRocca as Vice Delegate effective immediately. He has been a long standing member of the Delegation, having been decorated as Commander in 1981; Knight Commander in the grade of Justice in December 2016 and served with loyalty and distinction during the term of Delegate David Garrison. LaRocca was a member of the National Council of the Order as the representative of HRH Prince Carlo di Borbone. 

He brings a wealth of information to the deliberations of the Order and a lifetime of dedication to the Sacred Order, its works and loyalty to the Royal House of Bourbon-Two Sicilies.

27 January 2017 -- Birthday Wishes to HRH Prince Carlo-Saverio of Borbone-Parma

1/27/17: Our recognized legitimate collateral order, the Sacred Angelic Constantinian Order of St George of Parma celebrates today the Birthday of its Prince Grand Master, HRH Prince Carlo-Saverio of Borbone-Parma, Duke of Parma & Piacenza, Head of the Bourbon-Parma dynasty. He is the eldest son of the late Duke of Parma and Carlist heir, Prince Carlo-Ugo di Borbone-Parma and Princess Irene of the Netherlands. The King of the Netherlands is his first cousin. 

The Sacred Angelic Constantinian Order of St George was recognized as a legitimate collateral Order, having its origin in the Farnese inheritance. Once King Carlo di Borbone was crowned King of Naples and Sicily, he abdicated as Duke of Parma & Piacenza to his younger brother, Prince Filippo. The Order was moved to Naples, but also continued in Parma. In the aftermath of the Congress of Vienna, Treaties were signed by the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies and the Duchy of Parma that recognized the autonomy of the Sacred Military COSG and the Sacred Angelic COSG as separate and independent of the other with GM is the Monarchs of the Two Sicilies and Parma respectively. That relationship has continued.

16 January 2017 -- Canon Barwig Promoted to Knight Grand Cross

1/15/17: On the occasion of the ceremonies marking the 85th birthday of Prior Emeritus, Very Rev Canon Regis Norbert Barwig, our Delegate announced that our Grand Master, HRH Prince Carlo di Borbone delle Due Sicilie has decorated Canon Barwig as a Knight Grand Cross of the Royal Order of Francis I of the Two Sicilies in recognition of his lifetime of dedication to the Order and his personal loyalty to the Royal Family. He is already decorated as Knight Commander of Ecc. Grace and holds the Gold Benemeriti medal of the Constantinian Order and is a Knight of Francis I, among his many other accolates.

26 December 2016 -- US Delegation Mourns the death of the Order's Chaplain, Knight of Ecc. Grace, the Very Rev Fr John P. McGuire, OP.

12/26/16: Our Delegation mourns the death overnight of our Chaplain, Knight of Ecc. Grace, the Very Rev Fr John P. McGuire, OP. A respected greatly loved member of the Dominican Order, Father was a reassuring, warm presence in any gathering. He was a personal friend of TRH the Duke and Duchess of Castro from the days when the Princess was at NYU and Fr McGuire was the NYU Chaplain. He assisted at the marriage of TRH in Monaco and at the Baptism of HRH the Duchess of Calabria & Palermo at the Paletine Chapel of the Royal Palace of Caserta. A leader in inter-faith understanding, for decades he was the face of the Catholic Church at NYU and Greenwich Village through his stewardship of St Joseph's Church in the Village. A Chaplain of Malta and the EOHS, he greatly valued his Chaplaincy of the SM Constantinian Order and always generously offered the use of St Joseph's for services. A friend and a giant spiritual man, he will be greatly missed.

15 December 2016 -- US Delegation honors Prior Emeritus the Very Rev. Fr. Regis Norbert Barwig in Chicago

12/15/16: SAVE THE DATE: Our beloved Prior Emeritus, the Very Rev. Fr. Regis Norbert Barwig, Commander of Ecc. Grace and Knight of Francis I will be honored for his lifetime of service to the church and Order on the occasion of his 85th Birthday the weekend of January 14-15, 2017 at the Church of St John Cantius and events at the Drake Hotel, all in Chicago. We owe Fr Barwig and enormous debt of gratitude for his introduction of the Order and its growth in union with our late Delegate of happy memory, David Garrison. 25 November 2016 -- US Delegation congratulates Baron Dr. Robert A. LaRocca on his new appointment

11/25/16: The Delegation congratulates our distinguished confratello, Baron Dr. Robert A. LaRocca, MD on his appointment as a Knight of Justice in our Sacred Order. The announcement was communicated by our Grand Prefect, HRH Princess Beatrice di Borbone of the Two Sicilies, on behalf of HRH Prince Carlo. Baron LaRocca, of Ft. Lee, NJ, is a descendant of a distinguished noble family of the Two Sicilies, and had for many years, served as our Delegation's Vice Delegate. He continues to participate in all our activities and his advice and counsel as well as personal friendship is appreciated.

24 November 2016 -- Their Royal Highness Prince Charles and Princess Camilla of Bourbon-Two Sicilies extend Thanksgiving greetings to US Delegates

11/24/16: Their Royal Highness Prince Charles and Princess Camilla of Bourbon-Two Sicilies, in a communique released today, have extended Thanksgiving greetings to all members of the US Delegation as we celebrate Thanksgiving and have specifically extended their thanks for all that we collectively do for our Order, humankind and the care which we have for each other. Happy Thanksgiving Day.

31 October 2016 -- US Delegation extends condolences to Prince and Princess Duccio Corsini

10/31/16: The delegation extends condolences to Prince and Princess Duccio Corsini on the tragic death by auto accident in London of their 21 year old son, Prince Filippo Corsini. The Corsini Princely family, mediatized princes of the Holy Roman Empire from Florence have numbered a Pope, military leaders and a saint among their Florentine and Roman ancestors. The late Prince Filippo died while on a bicycle which was struck by a lorry.
