26 December 2016 -- US Delegation Mourns the death of the Order's Chaplain, Knight of Ecc. Grace, the Very Rev Fr John P. McGuire, OP.

12/26/16: Our Delegation mourns the death overnight of our Chaplain, Knight of Ecc. Grace, the Very Rev Fr John P. McGuire, OP. A respected greatly loved member of the Dominican Order, Father was a reassuring, warm presence in any gathering. He was a personal friend of TRH the Duke and Duchess of Castro from the days when the Princess was at NYU and Fr McGuire was the NYU Chaplain. He assisted at the marriage of TRH in Monaco and at the Baptism of HRH the Duchess of Calabria & Palermo at the Paletine Chapel of the Royal Palace of Caserta. A leader in inter-faith understanding, for decades he was the face of the Catholic Church at NYU and Greenwich Village through his stewardship of St Joseph's Church in the Village. A Chaplain of Malta and the EOHS, he greatly valued his Chaplaincy of the SM Constantinian Order and always generously offered the use of St Joseph's for services. A friend and a giant spiritual man, he will be greatly missed.

In Hoc Signo Vinces.
